INTERACTION DESIGN PROJECT

The purpose and outline of the lesson

Social Interaction Design aims to learn practical methods of creating interaction for supporting and/or enhancing sociality -- relationships among people on social world. In this class, students perform investigation of "real" social needs and availability by field studies and some other methods, and determine a problem domain such as "regional contribution", "students and university", "aging society", "information explosion" and so on. They also perform a design process for resolving a problem on the domain actually with studing some new technologies about computer engineering, and the design process is periodically evaluated by some outer knowledgeable people in order to create sustainable, social interaction methods and/or systems.
